1.) Do your homework
There are many people throughout the world that offer psychic readings. Some are truly gifted, some are not. As with any field, there are imposters. By doing your homework in advance--research--you will be able to determine ahead of time whether you have a true psychic or intuitive that may assist you.
2.) Research
What information is available to you?
The world wide web is filled with information available to you. Check search engines, look for testimonials, ask for references, review guestbooks, or check by word of mouth. Whether seeking an online psychic session, or one in your local community, references should not be too hard to find. One's own personal experience is more powerful in testimony than any advertisement out there.
If it is at all possible, view a psychic reading in progress.
Many online readers have open forums and offer sample readings. You may either participate or simple view the reading. This will allow you to decide whether that psychic is truly gifted and/or one that you would feel comfortable in receiving a reading from. The world wide web has opened up wonderful avenues to us to communicate with others throughout the world. You may not feel comfortable with a psychic reader in your country, but may find the ideal person suited for you in another. The possibilities are endless!
3.) Red Flags: Signs of Imposters
One of the biggest red flags, in my opinion, is the reader who is asking an abundance of questions. Some true psychic readers may ask you a question for clarification to determine if their interpretation of information they are receiving is correct, however, if a reader is asking you probing questions to get information out of you, then you know you are being hood-winked!
Look for a secondary lead in to offer you products. If someone is claiming that they can cure you from your ailment by way of you purchasing a crystal, purchasing a cream or purchasing anything, then you know you are not with the right type of individual. There is no object, item or cream out there that is going to change your relationships, your life's challenges, i.e.....
4.) Making the Selection
So you've found several true psychics! What next? Who do you choose? The one that you are most drawn to. This doesn't mean that you cannot call upon another psychic. In fact, a few psychics may be able to offer you a vast amount of information among them. Whomever you are most comfortable with will generally be the one you choose again, and again.
